1VAA was created because the UK’s safeguarding system is failing victims at every level. With police dismissals, unsafe family court rulings, and widespread mishandling of evidence, survivors are being harmed by the very institutions meant to protect them. We provide evidence-based advocacy, case investigation, safeguarding expertise and legal process support for victims failed by police, social services and family courts.
